The purpose of ORU Worship is to cultivate an environment of worship on campus, which is then carried to the nations of the world. The department is consistently providing students with an opportunity to use their musical giftings to honor God.

The ORU Worship Department consists of the following areas:

• Creative Arts/Chapel Worship: This includes the choir, band, and the Creative Arts Team who lead worship in ORU chapel services. Auditions for the ORU Worship chapel choir and band are held every fall. Spring auditions are also available to students.
• Worship Tours: ORU Worship sends out numerous music mission teams throughout the summer, both nationally and internationally. For more information, refer to the Worship Tours webpage.
• Campus Worship: This is ORU Worship’s Sunday evening prayer and worship service. For more information, please refer to the Campus Worship webpage.
• Souls A’ Fire: This is the gospel choir and band of ORU Worship. Auditions for Souls A’ Fire take place in the fall along with auditions for the chapel choir and band.

ORU Worship is an active department, fully established to raise up students to share the love of Christ through music.
